 High gas prices like these are common in tourist areas of Orlando. ORLANDO, FL (Catholic Online) - I''s perfectly legal, and the price is posted out front of the station. However, motorists are still in for a shock. Many motorists visiting the nearby Lake Buena Vista, a popular tourist destination, use the filling station because of its proximity to the lake. Likewise, prices at stations near the Orlando International Airport are also high, well above $5 per gallon. This is a rude awakening for customers who are returning rental cars to the airport and are in a hurry to catch a flight. Signs on the roads into the area warn travelers of the high prices, but many are still surprised when they pull in and see just how high they really are.
