Ann Romney has joined a breast-cancer awareness walk in Orlando. On Saturday, the hopeful first lady joined thousands of activists as they walked through the streets of Orlando to raise awareness and money for fighting the dreadful disease.

ORLANDO, FL (Catholic Online) - Everyone, including family pets, made the walk, decked out in pink. Ann Romney is herself a breast-cancer survivor, having been diagnosed in 2008, but is now free of the disease.

Romney spoke to several other women and survivors and shared some of their stories.

October is Breast cancer Awareness Month and Ann Romney has been participating in a number of breast cancer awareness events across the country.
