ORLANDO, FL (Catholic Online) - According to police, Jones was angered when his girlfriend and her daughter arrived home and an unnamed individual attempted to smoke crack cocaine. The girlfriend said Jones became angry and violent towards her and threatened to kill her dog. According to the report, at one point in the altercation, Jones threw her to the ground strangled her, then began hitting her with her dog. After beating her, he fled on bicycle, carrying the dog with him. Officers responding to the call located Jones, who dropped the dog and attempted to flee. He was captured and arrested. The report did not say if the dog sustained any injuries from the abuse.
