Sunrail is expected to create as many as 245,000 jobs over the next 30 years.
The Federal Government is giving a $2.4 million grant to an Orlando planning agency so development  for a 17 stop metro rail can be completed. The SunRail commuter train will connect housing with jobs, schools, and transportation.

ORLANDO, FL (Catholic Online) - The money is being distributed as part of $96 million being used by the US Department of Planning and Urban Development to promote such projects.

Work is expected to begin next year on SunRail. The first 31 miles will carry passengers in late 2014. The line is expected to carry passengers from Orlando to south Orange County.

The system is expected to create more than 245,000 jobs over the next 30 years as it contributes to the local economy.
